I'm not dead

I know, I've been horribly neglecting this site.
The bay has been really nice the past few days. It's been in the mid-high sixties (a number which still means very little to me) all week, and sunny... well, except for Thursday, but we won't talk about Thursday.
I'm slowly working on a new site that will become my more artsy-side focused page and this page will eventually become more of my personal site. Long story short my artistic photos will end up on the other site, my day to day life stuff here. Complex I know, but such is the way of things. You can see my current progress on the new site at angrywaffle.net. It doesn't do much yet (its still technically a static page with some javascript) but the layout is set. I might change some minor things with it, we shall see. I've got a fair bit of back end code to write as I want to get rid of my crufty code that I've slowly been updating over the years. I'm definitely planning to go more object oriented and make more use of caching. Perhaps a normal visit won't even hit the database at all. We shall see.
